How would you describe your style – cinematic, documentary, or a mix of both?

I consider my style to be the best of both worlds! I like to use cinematic angles and dramatic shots whenever possible. However, I also appreciate that this is a documentary of your day and capture all the essential highlights. For your film I also use natural audio, from 5 different audio sources, mixed with music, so the final video is specifically tailored for you.


Who supplies the soundtrack?

I love selecting a soundtrack for your highlight that is going to fit the emotion, location, personality and ambience of the event. This is how I create your film, I personally select music that fits you, your story, your emotion! From that day forward every time you hear the music I select it will take you back to the emotion you felt in your wedding day as you relive it though your film. 


Who will be shooting my wedding?

I personally shoot every wedding that I book. Developing a relationship with you helps me get better footage on the day of your wedding. I make notes to myself at our first meeting that more often than not, make it all the way through to the final edit of your wedding film, hence the importance of being the point person from start to finish!


What types of cameras, microphones and lights do you use?

I use two Panasonic G7 cameras and two Panasonic G6 cameras, which capture all of your footage in HD. I have a ton of different lenses that minimize the need for an on-camera light. If needed, I use off-camera LED lights. The lights are dimmable, and extremely adaptable to work beautifully in nearly any lighting situation.


How do you edit the footage?

I personally edit all footage using Final Cut Studio 3.


Will a backup camera be on hand for the event?

Yes, I have four cameras available at every event.


How long does the editing process take?

You will receive your edited video within 4-5 months of your wedding date.


Do you offer a-la-carte pricing?

Yes! Although the packages provide the best bang for your buck, you can add on any service. The services below are the most popular add-on's:

  • 3-5 minute Highlight Film: $800.00 (available as an addition to the Feature Film Package)
  • 10-15 minute Feature Film: $1200.00 (available as an addition to the Highlight Film Package)
  • Second Cameraman: $1000.00 for 8 hours. $100 additional for each hour over 8.
  • Coverage beyond 8 hours: $200.00/hour for primary cinematographer, $100.00/hour for secondary  
  • Physical Media: $50 per disc.


Do you supply DVDs or Blu-Rays?

No, I supply you with a digital high definition file that is compatible with your iPhone, iPad and most other mobile devices.  The great thing about this file is that you can then back it up on your computer and don't have to worry about losing your DVDs.  I can't tell you how many couples have contacted me saying that they can no longer enjoy their wedding film because they lost their DVDs or scratched them. Also, most computers today have the capability to burn DVDs and Blu-Ray discs, so you can create as many physical copies as you like to hand out to friends and family, or you can simply direct them to the online link that I send to you, so that they can enjoy your full-length film as well!


Do you have liability insurance?

Yes, I have coverage up to $1,000,000.00, and will gladly provide proof for your venue.


What form of payment do you accept?

I accept cash, check, and all credit cards via PayPal. Credit cards are subject to a 3% convenience fee.


How far will you travel?

I shoot weddings throughout Virginia, Washington DC, Baltimore, Maryland, the Outer Banks, North Carolina, New York City and really anywhere! I gladly travel domestically and internationally if the travel & housing costs are covered--I love to jet set!
